Crown has unveiled three more venues that will be part of its new development at Sydney.
Set to open in December, the new venues at the Barangaroo site include high-end New York-inspired cocktail lounge The Waiting Room (TWR), Cantonese restaurant Silks and open kitchen Epicurean.
“We wanted to create a dining destination that’s diverse and eclectic – and a destination that really has something for everyone in Sydney to enjoy,” Crown Sydney executive general manager Mark Holmes told The Daily Telegraph.
“From a fine dining experience, to great, authentic Chinese, right through to just being able to sit by the water and enjoy a drink – we wanted this to be a place that Sydney wants to return to time and time again.”
New York design firm Meyer Davis has been recruited to style TWR into a world-class hotel lobby bar.
“Some of the best bars in the world are inside famous hotels – Sydney needs that and TWR will deliver it,” Holmes said.
Silks will create an opulent dining room experience “that feels like you are in a Chinese mansion”, while Epicurean will feature nine open kitchens with panoramic views of Sydney Harbour Bridge.
“Epicurean will provide Sydney with a sophisticated open-kitchen dining experience, offering a variety of cuisines that showcase the freshest produce,” Holmes said.
