Adelaide will host the Sohn Hearts & Minds investor event next November which is expected to attract 600 key decision-makers, investors and scientists from over 450 organisations worldwide.
The conference doubles as a major fundraiser for medical research, with 50 per cent of funds raised, potentially worth more than $1 million, to be donated to the local medical research sector.
Since its inception, the event is on track to raise more than $60 million through conference ticket sales and donated fees from its listed investment company, known as Hearts and Minds Investments.
Attendees include ultra-high-net worth investors and the chief investment officers of some of Australia’s leading industry and retail super funds, representing more than $500 billion of wholesale funds under management.
“We’re excited to bring the conference to Adelaide’s Festival Theatre next November, where attendees will experience the best of South Australia all while raising vital funds to build medical research capabilities across the nation,” said Sohn Hearts & Minds co-founder Matthew Grounds.
