Townsville’s first luxury hotel Ardo has revealed the design for what will be Tropical North Queensland’s first rooftop infinity pool perched 25m above the Coral Sea with views extending out to Magnetic Island.
Currently under-construction, Ardo will offer 132 rooms and suites, all with private balconies or courtyards while many of the rooms enjoy the same panoramic views as the rooftop sanctuary.
The hotel will also feature a Rooftop Bar alongside steak and seafood restaurant Marmor, which also resides on the top floor.
“The rooftop infinity pool and bar will deliver a new level of luxury and relaxation in the tropics, all within an architecturally designed five-star resort,” said Ardo and The Ville CEO Michael Jones.
“Ardo hotel guests will soon be able to sip a cool drink by the infinity pool while looking out to the world’s largest and most celebrated reef system.
“There is already a huge amount of hype around the pool within North Queensland but this will also showcase a new level of hotel amenities to visitors to the region not previously on offer in Townsville.”
Bookings for the $88 million hotel and rooftop spaces are expected to be announced soon.
