New $7m event pavilion at Adelaide’s historic Carrick Hill

Adelaide has welcomed a new 200-pax event space at Carrick Hill, the 100-acre estate in the Adelaide foothills east of the CBD.

Carrick Hill’s new $7 million pavilion contains a large event space and will soon to be home to a new restaurant from the family behind the renowned Chianti restaurant and Bar Torino.

The multi-purpose event space and restaurant offers visitors indoor or outdoor seating options with views of the gardens, city and sea.

“This new pavilion building… provides a new place for the South Australian community to come together and experience the beauty, history and tranquillity of this iconic venue,” said South Australian Arts Minister Andrea Michaels.

“The combination of stunning scenery with incredible food and service will create an unforgettable dining and events experience.”

Scott Bryant, Chairman of Carrick Hill Trust, thanked “the passionate and committed team” behind the new pavilion.

“The project was made possible through the contribution of a number of individual donors and the support of the Carrick Hill Foundation,” he said. “We thank them and the Australian and State governments for their considerable contributions.”
