Malaysia will host the Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implants and Related Sciences in 2025 together with The Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgeons, attracting around 800 delegates.

Malaysian Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) worked with the Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgeons to secure the bid.

“We really hope this conference will meet its ultimate objective as Malaysia provides the best platform for interchange of knowledge, skills and expertise with unique Malaysia experience,” said MyCEB CEO Abdul Khani Daud.

Professor Prepageran Narayanan, Incoming President of the Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implants and Related Sciences in 2025, said the conference win was “an important global recognition of our work in this field”.

“This is among one of the most prestigious and biggest cochlear implants conferences in the world, set to gather the prominent global experts for a dynamic forum, promoting productive clinical debates within various aspects of hearing, speech and related balance disorders,” Narayanan said.

“Setting the theme of Hearing for All, we aim to improve impaired person’s quality of everyday life on hearing, speech and balance disorders.”
