Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific has appointed Kaydee George as general manager at its flagship Fiji resort, Club Wyndham Denarau Island.
George joins Club Wyndham Denarau Island after almost eight years with Wyndham, most recently as area general manager Gold Coast, based at Wyndham Surfers Paradise.
George joined Wyndham in 2012 as a conference and events manager in Dunsborough, before being promoted to various resort management roles in Australia and New Zealand. She is also part of the Queensland Government’s Young Tourism Leaders program, which provides influential and inspiring role models to encourage young people to consider a career in the tourism industry.
“During her time at Wyndham Surfers Paradise, Kaydee was instrumental in building a can-do culture and leading a motivated, results-driven team,” said Wyndham’s vice president of operations, Warren Cullum.
“In 2019, the team at Wyndham Surfers Paradise managed to achieve significant growth in both customer satisfaction and financial performance, which is testament to the time Kaydee spent developing the business and the people around her. I have no doubt she will bring the same energy and commitment to our flagship Fiji property.”
