W Sydney has offered a look inside its meeting spaces ahead of the hotel’s planned opening in November.
The 585-room hotel will offer 1,300 square metres of combined events space across eight spaces.
As the largest space, the 600sqm Great Room will feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Darling Harbour and the city and LED wall displays that can be configured as one 14m x 4m screen.
“We are excited to share these new event spaces with their bold, creative W spirit,” said W Sydney director of sales and marketing Roxanne Markvina.
“Design is at the forefront of everything that we do at W Sydney, and our exceptional light-filled spaces with their state-of-the-art technology will without doubt take Sydney’s conferences and events to the next level.”
W Sydney will mark the brand’s third hotel in Australia and is part of Marriott International’s expansion plans in Asia Pacific, with the hotel giant planning to open its 1000th property in the region in late 2022.
Craig S. Smith, Marriott’s group president international, said he was pleased with the company’s 2021 development results in Asia Pacific.
“We have worked closely with our owners throughout the last two years to navigate the challenges brought on by the pandemic, adapt quickly, and grow,” he said.
