Effervescence Tasmania secures $85k in funding over three years

The future of Effervescence Tasmania has been cemented with a three-year funding agreement securing the festival until 2023.

The sparkling wine festival was originally funded through the Events Tasmania Regional Start-up Grant funding program from 2016 to 2018.

“We know that COVID-19 has presented many challenges and uncertainties for our event organisers, which is why I’m so delighted that funding of $85,000 will be provided to deliver Effervescence for the next three years,” Sarah Courtney, Minister for Tourism, Hospitality and Events, said in a statement.

“We will continue to be a strong supporter of our world-class events sector and work to attract, retain and grow events that will drive economic growth in every region of the State.”
