The first stage of the $14.8 million Broadbeach Cultural Centre has opened with an upgraded auditorium and multipurpose hall and meeting room.
“Every great city needs great community facilities that allow people to gather both professionally and recreationally close to public transport,” said Mayor Tom Tate.
“The Precinct is providing the community with those creative and social spaces that support a vibrant lifestyle.”
The precinct also has a new café, new public amenities and more parking.
