The Western Sydney Convention Centre (WSCC) and the Panthers Precinct recently hosted the 57th Annual Conference of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ASCC).
Secured while the Centre was still under construction, the event’s three-day program welcomed 400 delegates daily for a mixture of lectures, workshops, keynote presentations and a 66-booth exhibition.
The ASCC program activated more than 2,000sqm of the precinct, with WSCC’s flexible layouts allowing the exhibition, workshops and plenary sessions to run side by side.

The adjoining five-star Pullman Sydney Penrith recorded nearly two-thirds occupancy from conference delegates, including international visitors.
ASCC event organiser Robert McPherson, Lubrizol’s business manager, said WSCC was a delight to work with.
