Virgin Australia has resumed a New Zealand service with flights to Queenstown from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Sydney and Brisbane will offer daily flights on Boeing 737s, while Melbourne offers a four-times weekly service.
The resumption of flights to New Zealand marks the carrier’s third international destination after Fiji and Bali. Virgin will begin a service to Samoa in March 2023.
“Australians and New Zealanders have a close bond and we are proud to be creating a new gateway between the countries for friends and family to visit each other, businesses to flourish and holiday-makers to seek adventure with more choice and great value airfares,” Virgin Australia CEO Jayne Hrdlicka said
“Virgin Australia is an airline that’s doing things differently and we are having a lot of fun coming up with exciting new innovations to make every part of the travel experience more wonderful.”
