Virgin Australia has reopened its final domestic airport lounge in Canberra today following the reopening of its lounges in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide.
The move comes as demand begins to take off, with Virgin hoping to be at 80 per cent of pre-COVID-19 capacity by July.
“Guests of our Canberra Lounge will be able to enjoy our new menu which is gradually rolling-out across the network and includes a selection of sandwiches, salads, wraps and healthy snacks, freshly prepared on site,” said a Virgin Australia Group spokesperson.
Virgin CEO Jayne Hrdlicka recently unveiled their plans to boost investment in their lounge network over the next few years.
Qantas has already reopened all of its business lounges.
