Former newsreader Tina Altieri has been named as a headline speaker at the upcoming show The Business of Events.
To be held on March 19 at Luna Park Sydney, The Business of Events line-up of speakers also includes Beverley Williamson, GM of business development and bids at the Melbourne Convention Bureau, and Carmel Horvath, head of Events and Sponsorship at Coles Supermarkets.
“For over 30 year’s Tina’s been one of the most prominent figures in the world of media,” said Anne-Marie Mina, marketing manager at organiser Exhibitions & Trade Fairs.
“Holding the title as the youngest television newsreader in Australia, at just 19 years of age, the veteran presenter and reporter knows how to craft and deliver impactful messages. If your events are a communication vehicle for your brand’s messages, you can’t miss hearing from Tina.”
Global entrepreneur Lisa Messenger, CEO of Collective Hub, will lead a breakfast session, talking about the power of community and the flow-on effect for brands and their bottom line.
“Lisa has amassed a community of over 800,000 social and digital followers, so the learnings here for attendees, in an intimate and limited-numbers session, are just fantastic,” Mina said.
