The Star Sydney has opened a quirky new bar on the ground floor of the Astral Hotel.
G&Tea offers a menu celebrating a range of artisan tea and gin. Among the menu items is the highly prized Yellow Gold Tea Buds by TWG, coming in at $120 a pot. Its platinum-coloured buds are transformed into ambrosial jewels plated with 24-karat gold and the tea is served in an exclusive Gong Fu Tea Ceremony, conducted by a qualified and dedicated Tea Master.
The G&Tea mixologists have crafted a selection of Tea-Tails including the Green Tea Mojito with Green Tea, Tanqueray, Basil Seeds, Soda, Mint; the Tea Tini with Jing Green Apple Hibiscus Tea, Ink Gin, Vermouth, Lemon Peel and the Passionfruit Green Tea Whiskey.
A food menu is available featuring a range of gourmet sandwiches.
