Thai Airways non-stop flights returning to Perth in March

Thai Airways will restart its daily non-stop service between Bangkok and Perth from March 27 adding more than 93,000 additional inbound seats to Perth annually.

Thai Airways will operate the daily service on a B787-8 aircraft, providing an additional flight option for visitors from the UK and continental Europe.

“We’re very excited to welcome Thai Airways back to Western Australia, and the opportunities this non-stop daily service between our two destinations will bring,” said Acting Tourism Minister Reece Whitby.

“Our State Government has been proud to work with Perth Airport to bring back and secure new non-stop flights to Western Australia, and strengthen our State’s global reputation as the ‘Western Gateway to Australia’.

“Securing and recommencing direct aviation services is absolutely vital to driving travellers to our State, injecting visitor spend into our economy, and creating jobs in the tourism and hospitality industries.”
