Sydney event planner arrested over alleged ‘dial-a-dealer’ cocaine syndicate

An eastern suburbs event planner has been arrested as part of an investigation into a “dial-a-dealer” cocaine syndicate in Sydney.

Twenty-four-year-old Danielle Hogan was arrested at her North Bondi unit yesterday and is the seventh person to be taken into custody so far by Strike Force Northrop, according to the Daily Telegraph.

She was charged with five offences including participating in a criminal group, take part supply prohibited drug and found on/entering/leaving drug premises.

“A seventh person has been arrested following an investigation into an alleged “Dial-a-Dealer” syndicate by detectives from Redfern Region Enforcement Squad,” police said in a statement.

Police allege that Hogan knew the six other people arrested over a 1.6kg stash of cocaine set to be sold over the Melbourne Cup weekend and $40,000 cash found in raids in Bankstown, Croydon Park, Yagoona, Potts Hill and Condell Park.
