Sydney’s latest hospitality destination Shell House has opened its newest venue in its rooftop space.
Sky Bar sits at the top of former Menzies Hotel site, which is part of the broader $2 billion Brookfield Place development.
The first venue at Shell House to open was Menzies Bar & Bistro on the ground floor, with the rooftop dining room and terrace set to open on November 26 led by Sixpenny’s Aaron Ward and former Aria head chef Joel Bickford.
Shell House sits under The Point hospitality group, with chief Brett Robinson saying the ethos is led by “customer recognition”.
“We want people to feel like it’s their clubhouse,” he told Good Food.
The ethos seems to working with the venue clocking up more than 6000 bookings in one day when reservations opened last week.
