The Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast has reopened Pearls Bar following a $450,000 refurbishment that includes new furniture and fixtures, in addition to a new menu.

“We’re incredibly lucky to have front row seats over the pacific ocean, so we commissioned the renovation to open the space up,” Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast general manager Keith Massey told the Gold Coast Bulletin.

“The renovations mark a new beginning for the resort, reflecting our modern and forward ambitions.

“We hope our guests and the Gold Coast locals alike, will love it just as much as we do.”

The new menu features items such as bao buns, coconut prawns and lobster rolls.

The investment follows last year’s sale of the resort to hotel barons Arthur Laundy and Theo Karedis.
