Salesforce’s flagship Australian conference has announced it will be an “online experience” only this year as a precaution against the coronavirus.
To be held on March 4 at ICC Sydney, World Tour Sydney was set to attract thousands of delegates from across the Asia-Pacific region.
“Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our stakeholders,” Salesforce said in an update on its website.
“Over the last few months, we have been closely monitoring the evolving situation with the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak to ensure we are taking every precaution to look after our customers, partners and employees.”
Salesforce maintained the online format would still be a valuable resource for its delegates.
“World Tour Sydney Reimagined will deliver a full program of inspiration and enablement direct to you, streamed from Australia completely online for the first time ever,” they said,
The announcement follows the cancellation of Cisco’s flagship Australian event which was to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
