RACV Royal Pines Resort unveils 24m LED screen as part of multi-million dollar investment across its conferencing spaces

RACV Royal Pines Resort’s ballroom has unveiled the largest hotel LED screen in the Southern Hemisphere at a special gala event last night on the Gold Coast.

The multi-million-dollar investment in the new immersive technology has firmly secured the Resort’s place as a market leader in the conferencing and event market.

The 24-metre long LED screen is complemented by additional major audio-visual system extensions, including motorised production cameras, stage and studio lighting, upgraded distributed audio system, laser projectors and mobile staging solutions.

There is also improved outdoor lighting and wheelchair and limited mobility access at the venue.

The latest investment comes off a record year for conferences and events at RACV Royal Pines Resort, which offers 15 versatile event spaces, accommodating up to 1800 delegates within a 333-room luxury resort.

Technology is just one aspect of the recent upgrades, with additional improvements including a new executive lounge, refurbished rooms and elevated dining experiences, giving event organisers endless customisable options.

The 24m LED screen in the Ballroom was unveiled at a gala event.

RACV Royal Pines Resort manager Martin Zumstein said the upgrades and additions have taken its conference and events venue to an exciting new level.

“With the facilities we now have in place, we have exceptional offerings for businesses of every size, private functions and larger conferences,” he said.

“What separates us from the competition is we’re able to blend business with pleasure – our accommodation, restaurants and location means that guests will really get the best of both worlds during their stay.”

The new executive lounge and upgraded meeting rooms also cater for businesses that need more intimate spaces to both unwind and as part of conference proceedings.

“We take great pride in the meticulous attention to detail invested in the creation of our executive lounge, offering guests a sophisticated haven to unwind,” Zumstein said.
