Queensland to open borders to NSW and Victoria

Queensland Premier Annastascia Palaszczuk has announced when the state's borders will reopen.

Queensland will reopen its borders to all of NSW including Greater Sydney and Victoria on December 1.

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk made the announcement today after both states passed their respective thresholds of no community transmission.

“I know how hard it’s been,” she said. “But there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Christmas is a great time to be reunited.

“Please come to Queensland and we look forward to welcoming you with open arms.”
