QT Gold Coast has unveiled the results of a revamp of the level one and two conferencing and event spaces and accommodation as part of an overall transformation set to be finished by summer.

QT Gold Coast’s Ballroom has been transformed with a ground floor private entrance to the 598sqm pillarless venue which can cater up to 650 guests or be arranged into six unique spaces. In addition, the Green Room (Secretariat) features a 50-inch screen and is connected to livestream the QT Ballroom.

The Sunset Rooms on level one have been transformed with a new look interior, each offering treetop views, while the level two conferencing and events spaces have taken inspiration from Venice Beach subculture with natural daylight and Slim Aarons photography.

The most significant work is the extension of the Malibu room onto the rooftop of level two. Malibu’s terrace offers an al fresco dining space, with a wood-fire oven, smoker and Argentinian grill. Events can be extended to The Landing, a spacious lawn.

QT Gold Coast’s 293 guest rooms and suites have also been redeveloped with a luxury beachside design celebrating life on the Coast.

“With every development, we will continuously bring QT to the forefront of hospitality and tourism,” said Callum Kennedy, group general manager of QT Hotels & Resorts.

“QT Gold Coast’s redevelopment is a complete reinvention in functionality, design and technology. It is evolving with the city’s coming of age, as the best place to meet on the global stage.”
