Qantas will finally relocate its main Perth hub to Airport Central with a new headquarters, according to reports on 6PR.
Sources suggest an agreement between Qantas, Perth Airport and the WA Government that will see a new headquarters adjacent to terminals one and two is imminent.
Currently, all international flights except Qantas leave from Terminal 1 which together with Terminal 2 form Airport Central.
Qantas and Jetstar have remained at a site at Terminals 3 and 4, which have required connecting passengers to make a 15-minute journey to the other Terminals.
Qantas has previously stated its ambition for Perth to be its western gateway to the world, with extra flights to South East Asia and direct flights to Paris and Frankfurt.
