Qantas delays Singapore-Darwin route until 2025

Qantas has delayed the launch of its new route between Darwin and Singapore, which was due to start in December.

The carrier has told customers that the new service will now take off in March 2025 due to operational and network scheduling issues.

Customers who had already booked flights on those dates affected would be contacted and offered options including full refunds.

Qantas will also add an extra 20,000 seats to its Darwin and Melbourne route between October and March, marking a 21 per cent increase in capacity.

Services from Darwin to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Alice Springs will also see an additional 5000 seats added in the lead up to Christmas.
