Pullman Brisbane Airport has been named Best Airport Hotel Australia/Pacific at the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2019.
Coming in the top five globally, Pullman Brisbane Airport only opened in late 2017, as part of a $150 million project which also included the 243 room ibis Brisbane Airport and the 1800sqm Brisbane Airport Conference Centre.
“I am incredibly proud of what we have been able to achieve so in our first year of operation,” said Alex Penklis, chief operating officer of Brisbane Airport Hotels Group. “Our success is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of our team in delivering a quality product and high level of customer service to our guests on a daily basis.”
Brisbane Airport reclaimed the title of Best Airport (Australia/Pacific) and increased its position to 18th in the World’s Top 100 Airports list, up from 22 in 2018. Singapore Changi Airport took the number spot as World’s Best Airport, while Crowne Plaza Changi Airport was awarded the World’s Best Airport Hotel for the fifth successive year.
