Village Roadshow Theme Parks has unveiled plans for a new $333 million hotel and function centre at Movie World on the Gold Coast.
The new plans have added an additional 200 rooms to its initial plans which were unveiled in 2017, with the new hotel to offer 600 rooms across 22 storeys. A “panoramic sky deck”, featuring infinity pool, bar and restaurants, would be located on level 21.
The function centre is also a new addition and will feature three halls, a break-out space and kitchen areas.
The new plans will have to go through another round of approval before getting the green light.
