NSW Parliament House offers nine event spaces each with their own very unique character. Among the most popular is the Strangers’ Room. Light and airy with panoramic garden views which contrast perfectly with the historic buildings around it. Ideal for conferences, seminars, luncheons, award dinners and stand-up cocktail reception events. It is also adjacent to the Fountain Court area which can be booked in conjunction with the room for pre-dinner reception drinks for up-to 200 people.

The Members’ Dining Room also features floor-to-ceiling windows, garden views, an antique fireplace and a private outdoor courtyard, making it ideal for conferences, luncheons and stand-up cocktail dinner events.

The historic Jubilee Room brings elegance to any event with its book-lined walls and a stained-glass ceiling. This heritage-listed library built in 1905, embodies the history and elegance of Australia’s first Parliament, providing the perfect backdrop for stand-up cocktail reception events, meetings and private dinners.

Public talks, presentations, lectures and film screenings can also be comfortably accommodated in The Theatrette, a purpose-built auditorium located below the Fountain Court. The adjoining foyer can be used for registration and light catering.

In total there are nine spaces on offer in this historic venue, catering to all types of events from conferences (160 pax) and cocktail events (700-pax) through to formal lunches and gala awards dinner for up to 300 people and workshops for up to 60.

The venue is also home to its multi-award winning NSW Parliamentary Catering team, who takes great pride in supporting local communities from rural New South Wales who practice ethical and sustainable farming.
