Perth mega famil strategy helps secure National Suicide Prevention Conference

Perth will host the National Suicide Prevention Conference (NSPC) in 2025, attracting around 700 delegates from across the globe to address critical issues surrounding mental health.

“We look forward to welcoming delegates from across the nation and the world to Perth to share the latest thinking and learning in suicide prevention,” said Nieves Murray, CEO of Suicide Prevention Australia.

“For 25 years we have been bringing together the brightest minds to share innovative thinking, best practice and the latest research.”

The Re-aWAken mega famil was held at the start of 2024.

Gareth Martin, CEO of Business Events Perth, says the bid win follows the recent mega famil “Re-aWAken”, where the client was invited as part of the strategic approach to secure the conference.

“Our recent ‘Re-aWAken’ mega famil played a strategic role in attracting NSPC 2025 to Perth and BE Perth looks forward to collaborating with stakeholders and partners to ensure its success, providing delegates with an enriching and memorable experience in Western Australia,” he said.

“NSPC 2025 reinforces the State’s global standing as a destination for conferences that make a difference and provides the opportunity to spotlight Western Australia’s commitment to leading crucial discussions on the global stage.”
