PARKROYAL Parramatta has completed the final stage of its multi-million-dollar transformation, as Western Sydney enters one of the most significant periods of economic growth in its history.

Following the extensive redesign of two thirds of its rooms in 2025, the second stage delivers upgraded meetings and events spaces, redesigned lobby and a premium executive suite.

The upcoming opening of Western Sydney International Airport and Powerhouse Museum are set to reshape the city into a major destination for business travel, conferences and events.

“As we celebrate PARKROYAL Parramatta’s 40th anniversary this year, completing this transformation is both a reflection of our proud history and our commitment to the future,” said Jeroen Meijer, PARKROYAL’s Cluster General Manager.

The enhancement of the hotel’s meetings and events facilities includes upgrades to the Governor’s Ballroom and the introduction of Western Sydney’s first and biggest permanent hotel LED wall through a partnership with Encore.

Complementing the technology investment is the hotel’s flexible portfolio of 13 event spaces.

The newly refurbished 116sqm PARKROYAL Suite is also well suited to more intimate business meetings and executive discussions in a private setting, with the option of a tailored boardroom experience that transforms the suite into a bespoke executive meeting space, complete with a personalised menu.

“We’ve invested in creating a destination that reflects where Western Sydney is heading,” said hotel manager Hans Joachim.

“Parramatta is no longer an emerging business centre, it is an established commercial hub that continues to attract major investment, corporate activity and events.

“The completion of this transformation ensures we’re well positioned to support that future while continuing to deliver the personalised service and local expertise that has always set PARKROYAL Parramatta apart.”
