Set to begin at 2pm AEDT, the preview will feature some of the 2021 installations, as well as introduce some of the world-class artists involved and the experts responsible for transforming the two-dimensional artworks into three dimensional light sculptures.
Northern Territory Major Events Company CEO Tim Watsford said this year’s Parrtjima was shaping up to be one of the most memorable.
“We are absolutely thrilled to see Parrtjima return to the Red Centre this April and cannot wait to share some of the magic with viewers,” he said.
“After what was an extremely challenging 2020, we look forward to welcoming visitors from all over Australia to the Red Centre for one of the best festivals yet.

This year’s festival, which is delivered by NT Major Events Company and produced by Creative Directors AGB Events, will take place at Alice Springs Desert Park and Todd Mall from 9-18 April.
