Some of the best minds in the digital and technology space will head Novotel Newcastle Beach as part of NewTech 2019, a one day and one night digital and tech collaboration.
Supported by the City of Newcastle, the conference will take place on September 6 and covers advances in Fintech, Facebook and the rollout of its new digital currency, the importance of data and cyber security, content creation, digital marketing and more.
“The innovation that is happening in Newcastle at the moment is extraordinary and the council’s Smart City Strategy which aims to maximise opportunities in technology, manufacturing, the digital economy and creative industries is really taking shape,” said Edmond Power, general manager of Novotel Newcastle Beach.
“Digital and Technology, whether we acknowledge it or not shapes almost every iteration in our professional and personal lives. We want to be a business that supports this city in becoming a Tech Hub. Which is why we are delighted to curate some the sharpest minds in the digital and technology space.
“We are thrilled to be sponsoring and hosting NewTech 2019 at Novotel Newcastle Beach and we have no doubt guests will revel in the keynotes and forums with some of Australia’s most dynamic tech entrepreneurs.”
Keynote speakers include Matt Purcell from Mentored with Mark Bouris, Craig Browning from OAS Technology, Michelle Adams from Accor, Mark Shaw from OFX and Duncan Waterman from D-EDGE.
