Newly rebranded AACB conference focuses on customer experience

The Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB) launched its 30th annual conference, which will be held in Melbourne on September 18-20.

Themed Customer Experience: Laneways to Success, the conference is embracing a new vision and audience with a rebranded event – Destination Business Events.

The conference will explore customer needs and how to evolve products and services to drive longer lasting relationships, greater loyalty, improved customer experiences and ultimately greater business success.

“The AACB annual conference offers a unique opportunity for competitors in our industry to network, share ideas, discuss trends and issues and work collaboratively in order to grow the overall business events market in and for Australia,” said AACB CEO Andrew Hiebl.

“Through the success of recent conferences, we look to further grow and enhance this event as one for all industry partners with an interest in attracting business events through bidding and business development activities.”

The conference will take place over 2.5 days at the Novotel Melbourne South Wharf. Registrations open on March 18.
