A new pop-up outdoor summer concert venue is set to open in Sydney’s inner west across four weeks in summer.
Outdoor event producers Architects of Entertainment are behind The Village Green, which will be available for hire at Tempe Recreation Reserve from 21 January to 27 February.
The fully licensed concert venue has a capacity of 2,800 patrons and will be equipped with full event infrastructure and outdoor live music delivery.
“The Village Green is a direct response to the Covid restrictions affecting the live music and events industries,” said The Village Green co-owners Nathaniel Holmes and Haydn Johnston.
“What we’ve created here in Tempe is an outdoor venue capable of accommodating crowd capacities that most indoor venues in Sydney are still unable to achieve. The city is more than ready for a return to live music and we’ve got the perfect spot for it.”
