New LED screen at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s Plenary

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s (MCEC) Plenary has received a major overhaul with the installation of two new LED screens that can double in size, creating a more immersive experience for visitors.

The new LED screens have a wide viewing angle and flexible configurations ensuring everyone in the room has enhanced visibility of the content. They are also 50 per cent more energy-efficient, contributing to the venue’s energy reduction targets.

In addition to the upgraded Plenary screens, MCEC has installed new AMX control panels in all its meeting rooms, including premium spaces.

The modern control panels offer an improved functionality and user experience, allowing the presenter to control everything from room lights to blinds, room temperature, speaker volume and music selections. The new panels also have a light-sensing feature, catering to diverse event requirements.

“We source the latest technical innovations to deliver seamless and customisable events, leaving a lasting impression on attendees,” said David Strangio, MCEC’s Head of Technology.

“We’re proud to work with industry-leading suppliers to take our tech offering to the next level.”
