New Education Series to launch at MEETINGS 2020

Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) is unveiling a new professional development and education programme for MEETINGS 2020 in Auckland.

CINZ chief executive Lisa Hopkins said event planners can “boost their knowledge” with four different speakers to choose from across the MEETINGS Education Series.

Opening the MEETINGS Education Series on 22 April is former New Zealander of the Year, Dr Lance O’Sullivan, who will address the subject of leadership in an ever-changing world.

Later that day, social researcher Ashley Fell will reveal a snapshot of the key trends redefining society and demonstrate how organisations can not only respond to these trends, but also shape them.

On day two of MEETINGS, the world’s first openly transgender mayor and MP Georgina Beyer will share her story and the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and at events.

She will be followed by celebrity chef, entrepreneur and health ambassador Simon Gault, who will talk about his own diabetes journey, and the knowledge he gained from research during his role as presenter of the documentary series ‘Why Are We Fat?’ covering issues including nutrition, sleep, and fitness.
