IHG Hotels & Resorts will bring its flagship Crowne Plaza brand to Fiji, with the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa set to open later this year.

Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa will convert from its previous life as Pullman Nadi Bay this year following a multi-million-dollar refurbishment and extension.

The existing 324 rooms will be refreshed, including new two-bedroom family rooms and ocean facing king suites. The hotel will also feature a new 600 seat convention centre that will complement the hotel’s existing conferencing space.

Matt Tripolone, managing director – Australasia & Pacific at IHG Hotels & Resorts Australasia and Pacific, said they were thrilled to be adding its Crowne Plaza brand to the island.

“We’re honoured to be working with Jay Singh (CEO of Wailoaloa Hotel) and his team to be able to bring their vision of creating a world-class dining, leisure and business precinct to life, is incredibly exciting, and we know the Crowne Plaza brand will do an exceptional job of delivering heartfelt Fijian hospitality,” he said.

“The addition of this hotel will also give our IHG One Rewards members more choice when choosing to holiday in Fiji and we’re excited to be opening more doors for our loyal guests.”
