Sydney is set to have a new event and function space with capacity for up to 430 people in September.
The Infinity Convention Centre will form part of the $575 million mixed-use development, Infinity by Crown Group, which is nearing completion in Green Square.
Infinity Convention Centre will offer delegates the opportunity to mingle post-event at a new eat street and dining precinct with wine and coffee bars, which is set to become a hub for the growing Green Square community from mid-year.
The building forms a landmark gateway to the $13 billion Green Square transformation, which will add a new train station and aquatic centre to the area.
“The new Infinity Convention Centre will provide a much-needed new space for sophisticated conferences, business functions, parties and weddings, in the heart of Sydney’s newest residential and commercial precinct, Green Square,” said Crown Group’s director of hotels and suites, Wayne Taranto.
“It will attract the best events from around the world, with event managers drawn to this exciting, attractive new space, made more appealing because of its ease of access, with the airport and city so close by and the added bonus of having more than 20 new retail stores, cafes and restaurants nearby.”
Event spaces on offer include classroom style for up to 65 people, cocktail events for 450 people, sit-down dinners for 370 people, and auditorium events for 430 people. The site also has kitchen facilities to cater for large-scale functions.
