Set on more than 800 hectares of the NSW South Coast, Willinga Park has been home to numerous equine sporting events. But today it has launched a new chapter with the opening of a new conference centre.
The Equine Education Centre’s new Conference Hall seats 300 people in cocktail mode, 280 people in conference mode and 200 people dining and features floor-to-ceiling windows with views to surrounding bushland.
The space offers flexible room layouts with a variety of options for staging and lighting. A private function bar and restaurant are connected to the main hall.
Facilities also include the Willinga Park Boardroom, while other breakout areas include the Grand Prix building, an architectural-award-winning space with adjoining commercial kitchen, which is ideal for meetings and formal dinners.
Accommodation comes in the form of 18 luxury, freestanding pavilions, including two four-bedroom pavilions and 16 two-bedroom pavilions.
Guests can enjoy the park’s botanical gardens and unparalleled sculpture collection, heated outdoor swimming pool, communal BBQ area and fire pit. Team building activities include horse trail rides, guided hikes, mountain biking, local tours and more.
“There is no other location which allows you to experience Australia this way,” said Terry Snow of Willinga Park.
“No other venue offers guests the chance to be just minutes from some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches and surrounded by vast bushland at the best, equine centre in the Southern Hemisphere. Guests will not be disappointed.”
