Meliá announces first Meliá Collection hotel in Vietnam

Spanish hotel giant Meliá Hotels International has welcomed the Vietnam Meliá Ba Vi Mountain Retreat as its first Meliá Collection property in Vietnam.

Located in the uplands of Ba Vi National Park near Hanoi, the award-winning 55-room and villa property will become Meliá Ba Vi Mountain, Member of Meliá Collection.

Set deep in the forest, the resort was selected for its commitment to sustainability, unique location, and an unparalleled design aesthetic that fuses French colonial and Vietnamese village architecture.

“Right from the start, our designs were nature-friendly and in harmony with the surroundings, honoring the enduring historical legacy,” said Luong Ngoc Anh, owner of Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreat.

“We want to bring our guests a feeling of harmony and comfort through experiences that connect the past and the present and embrace sustainable development.”

The resort will undergo refurbishments to further elevate its gastronomic offering and increase the range of wellness and well-being activities.

“Meliá Collection properties appeal to travelers seeking a genuine connection with their destination through both the property and the unique experiences on offer that provide an unmistakable sense of place,” said Gabriel Escarrer, chairman and CEO of Meliá Hotels International.
