Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands has unveiled its new state-of-the-art conference and meeting facilities ahead of its opening in mid-June.
Set to be the first five-star property in the precinct, the hotel will feature five meeting venues offering 375sqm of total event space.
Boasting floor to ceiling windows, the Promenade Room has a total area of 245sqm opening out to an alfresco terrace of 30sqm. The Promenade Room can host up to 200 guests seated theatre style or for a cocktail reception, or 120 guests seated at round tables for a dinner style event.
The Promenade Room can be used in its entirety for large events or divided into smaller spaces.
Other meeting spaces include The Observatory, a 55sqm room ideal for boardroom meetings or smaller social events. The Observatory can host 45 guests in a cocktail style, or 15 seated at a large boardroom table.
Similarly, on the opposite east-facing side of the building, The Dock room can host 35 for a cocktail style event or 12 seated at a boardroom table.
“The event facilities at Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands offer a level of customisation that is very rare within the industry,” said general manager Girish Talreja.
“We are proud to be at the vanguard of technology and versatility in this space.”
