Melbourne event planners wined and dined at Scotchmans Hill for Meet Geelong Mystery Dinner

A group of Melbourne event organisers were treated to an evening of discovery and culinary delights at the Meet Geelong Mystery Dinner, which returned to Geelong and The Bellarine last week.

The signature event provides some of the region’s leading industry operators the chance to connect with and showcase their product to potential clients.

Prior to the dinner, the guests received a clue in the form of a nautical-themed boarding pass, which they used to board a one-hour ferry journey with Port Phillip Ferries from Melbourne’s Docklands to Portarlington complete with live music and wine and cheese platters.

Upon disembarking, they were transferred to Scotchmans Hill winery for a two-course dinner, which was complemented by live entertainment with a classical harp and violin duo.

“We were delighted to host another successful Mystery Dinner in our region,” said Tamie Ryan, manager of Business Events Geelong’s Convention Bureau.

“It was great to see delegates taking the opportunity to connect with our incredible members who were in attendance on the night.

“The Mystery Dinner provides a taster of the exceptional experiences available in Geelong and The Bellarine, while demonstrating our city’s easy accessibility from Melbourne – it’s what truly sets us apart as a leading destination for business events.”
