Geoff Donaghy, CEO of ICC Sydney, said being nominated and recognised as winners in all five categories at the NSW MEA Awards was an outstanding achievement.
“It is particularly special to see the skills and contributions of Jack Crozier and Gabriella Alberici recognised as amongst the best in the industry as judged by some of the most esteemed representatives of our industry,” he said.
“They are shining examples of how our team members are excelling in their respective fields and contributing to our venue and clients’ success.”
Andrew Roberts, director of sales & marketing at Sydney Showground, said it had been a very challenging time for the event industry between 2021 and 2022.
“To be recognised by our industry and peers for all of that hard work is a tremendous honour,” he said.
Vanessa Green, CEO of Cliftons Event Solutions, said they were proud to progress through to the national MEA awards.
“Cliftons Sydney Margaret Street is a space we’re very proud of, especially of how we’ve evolved and reconfigured the venue to adapt to changing market needs,” Green said.
