Matthew Lazarus-Hall’s new role at ASM Global

Matthew Lazarus-Hall is the group’s new executive vice president, entertainment & content.

ASM Global has appointed Matthew Lazarus-Hall as the group’s executive vice president, entertainment & content.

Lazarus-Hall is the founder and CEO of Australian-based consultancy Square Circles Creative Solutions and was the senior vice president, Asia for global entertainment company AEG overseeing all concerts, festivals and sporting events across the Asia Pacific region. He was also the CEO of Chugg Entertainment for 13 years.

Before Chugg, he held leadership roles at Ticketek, overseeing ticketing for major marquee events such as the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games and the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

In his new role with ASM Global, his focus will be working with ASM’s growing portfolio of venues in Australia and the Asia and MENA regions starting with the ASM Global managed Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong, with its 50,000 seat domed stadium and 10,000 seat indoor sports and entertainment arena opening in mid-2025.
