Marriott unveils latest line-up of general managers across Melbourne

Marriott International has announced a new line-up of general managers as the hotel giant looks ahead to a strong pipeline of new hotel openings in Australia this year.

Stephen Ferrigno is the new GM at The Westin Melbourne; Chris Johns is heading up Four Points by Sheraton Melbourne Docklands; and Harry Singh is the GM at AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank.

“It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of three new general managers across a number of our top-performing hotels in Australia,” said Sean Hunt, Marriott International’s local boss.

“A testament to the success of our talent and retention programs, the senior associates’ careers with Marriott International have spanned several decades. The experienced and talented executives will lead three of our top-performing hotels in the Melbourne market.”

Marriott opened W Melbourne and the Courtyard by Marriott Brisbane South Bank this year and have another 12 hotels scheduled to open by the end of 2022, boosting the number of its hotel rooms by 45 per cent.
