Marriott to bring St. Regis brand to the Gold Coast

The St. Regis brand is heading to Australia with a new agreement between Marriott International and Gurner to see The St. Regis Gold Coast Resort open in 2027.

The hotel is set to be part of the first tower in the $1.7 billion La Pelago project, a lifestyle resort within the Budds Beach precinct.

The new-build resort is expected to feature approximately 185 guest rooms, a specialty restaurant, a world class sky bar, pool bar, lounge and spa, along with a penthouse collection and signature St. Regis Bar.

Sean Hunt, Marriott’s local boss, said they were excited to bring the globally recognized St. Regis brand to Australia.

“This signing is a testament to Marriott International’s continued commitment to growing our luxury portfolio in Australia and our confidence in the appeal of Australia as a leading tourism destination into the future,” he said.
