Marriott takes home six awards at the 2022 QHA Awards for Excellence

JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort and Spa team celebrate their win at the QHA Awards for Excellence.

Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas was named the Best Meeting and Events Venue at the QHA Awards for Excellence, one of a number of Marriott hotels to be recognised.

The JW Marriott Resort and Spa Gold Coast won three awards including Overall Hotel of the Year, Best Marketed Hotel and Best Redeveloped Hotel.

The Westin Brisbane was awarded the Best Deluxe Accommodation in the state while W Brisbane’s event manager Kimberley Baker was named the Hotel Rising Star.

The winners will automatically be entered into the National Australian Hotel Association (AHA) Awards that will take place late 2022 or early 2023.
