A new luxury eco resort has opened in South Australia on a private island off the coast of Port Lincoln.
Located on Louth Island, the first stage of the $40 million Rumi Reveal, which includes five suites and onsite restaurant Samphire, has opened giving a glimpse of what’s in store when the resort opens fully in 2025.
“This stunning island had to be shared with the world,” said owner Che Metcalfe.
The eco resort is completely self-sufficient with solar panels throughout and recycling and composting facilities.
“What’s most important is making sure the development considers the ecology of the island,” Metcalfe said.
“We’re thrilled to be able to expand on this region’s incredible tourism offering and bolster national visitation with our immersive island experiences and accommodation offering.”
In-house guests can be pampered with all inclusive meals, an hour-long massage and island tours via kayak or buggy part of the packages.
Day trips are also available with luxury cruises, island tours, fishing and kayaks tours on offer.
