Luxperience will launch a virtual meeting event to replace the planned physical event, this October 13-16.
With international travel disruptions significantly impacting the industry, the organisers say that moving the event online will allow all parts of the industry to remain connected and help find new ways to navigate the current pandemic, and offer an engaging interactive platform that will bring the community closer together no matter what timezone they are situated in.
It will also help accommodate the expected increase in demand for high-end travel experiences within Australia, New Zealand and the wider Oceania region, all of which are poised to be some of the first markets to open up to both inbound and outbound tourism.
These regions are likely to be regarded as both a ‘safe’ source market and destination for some time to come, with luxury travel predicted to rebound quickly meaning that an online opportunity to connect will be a vital tool for businesses to help them navigate the current challenges.

“Our existing network of high-end travel suppliers and buyers means we can bring this community together to do just that.”
The virtual event will incorporate all the hallmarks of the successful physical event including its pre-scheduled appointments format, as well as translating its education program into engaging online workshops and insightful industry keynote presentations.
It will also continue to prequalify all participants to ensure that only senior decision makers, with a proven history of purchasing can take part in the online program.
