Luxperience 2021 has abandoned its traditional hosted buyer format following the challenges posed by the latest lockdowns across the nation.
“There is no doubt that the travel industry has been one of the most severely hit sectors of this pandemic,” the organisers said in a statement.
“After extensive conversations with various stakeholders, exhibitors and buyers, Luxperience 2021 will not take place as its traditional hosted buyer format. Instead, we will curate bespoke and relevant events tailored to the industry this year.”
Last year the show went virtual, with organisers saying that “challenges ahead remain”.
“Luxperience still remains a key platform to connect buyers and sellers of luxury travel,” they said.
