Melbourne’s only luxury five-star hotel outside the CBD, the Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery by Sofitel, is gearing up for its official opening on November 1.
The new $130 million, 12-storey hotel will feature a rooftop pool and dining, lounge and bar Altus, two restaurants including Scott Pickett’s Pastore and wellness centre, alongside its 250 rooms, suites and penthouses.
It is also the first Australian hotel to target a 5 Star Green Star rating by the Green Building Council of Australia.
Chadstone director Fiona Mackenize said they forecast strong demand for its conference and events spaces.
“Chadstone’s onsite offices are home to more than 17 international and national businesses and with Monash University and Monash Medical Centre close by, Hotel Chadstone sits in a major metropolitan centre in southeastern Melbourne’s business education, science, health and retail districts with 75,000 workers,” she told the Herald Sun.
